nice

- i saw these from another blogger... it's really true..

the "charles schulz philosophy"

You don't have to actually answer the questions. Just read straight through, and you'll get the point.

1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.
2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.
3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America.
4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.
5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winner for best actor and actress.
6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.

How did you do?The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. These are no second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields. But the applause dies. Awards tarnish. Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.

Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:

1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.
2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.
3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.
4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special.
5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.

Easier? The lesson: The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They are the ones that care.Pass this on to those people who have made a difference in your life.

- HAPPY 7TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY BHE!!!! words aren't enough to describe how i feel... you are the best thing that ever happened in my life, i'm so proud to have you as my hubby, i know, legally we're not married, but we both know in our hearts that we're husband & wife, no doubt about that.. all that matters is our love for each other... thanks for sticking with me no matter what, i love you...

so, the last story of my reminiscin.. the first kiss that changed our lives... 7 years ago, he picked me up from school, we went to our friend's place, again with one of my closest friends, lei... we danced reggae, he gave me a back massage coz i was sick, then we just kissed, the very 1st time i kissed a guy i'm not in a relationship with..plus the fact that we have just met 3 days ago... call me conservative, but back then i never kissed a guy unless we're officially together or something... both our friends were shocked because we kissed in front of them.... that's not me, at all.. it may be just a physical attraction then, but that kiss started a relationhip i wouldn't think would last this long... we talked, & i told him we'll give that relationship a try & i've never kissed another man since then... 7 years ago, it started with a kiss that lead to where we are right now... in each other's arms, even after all the trials & fights & everything... that is one kiss that i'll never ever forget...
